BioHackathon Europe 2019 day5
#BH2019Europe day5
ようやく、朝起きるのが正常になった。 しかし、今日でBiohackathon Europe最終日。 Final wrap-upとして以下のまとめを。
- Achievements:
- 1 Clarified what is needed in the data production for gene expression data collection including FANTOM, GTEx and Human Cell Atlas.
- 2 Discussed how to re-use Cap Analysis of Gene Expression (CAGE) data for long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) knockdown (by antisense oligo(ASO)) from FANTOM6.
- 3 Designed the implementation to search an expression profile against data matrix above for associatable lncRNA.
- Sustainability: We will continue current effort to integrate gene expression data
- Judging Success: When an implementation to re-use FANTOM6 dataset is available on the web. Hopefully in 2020.
- Jupyter Notebook/BioHackrXiv: We tried to code with Jupyter Notebook in bash kernel, but it seems that CWL is suitable for our purpose. We are willing to use BioHackrXiv to publish our activity in Biohackathon Europe.
今回、参加してくれたTKさんに発表してもらった。 当初の狙い通り、彼らとのコラボ、とても良い再スタートをきれたという認識。
発表する際、以下の謝辞を入れて欲しいという話も。 個人的なリマインドもかねて。
This work was funded by ELIXIR, the research infrastructure for life-science data, as part of the ELIXIR BioHackathon-Europe 2019
